On the earth, especially in a country like India, there are many amazing places and The Padmanabha Swami Temple is one of these places.
Have you ever seen Heaven on the water covered by the greenery, yes, you read right, on the water! This is also experienced by me and now I am going to share it with you.
Hey! I am Prachi. I am here to tell you about my amazing and joyful tour.
So without wasting time, let's start to enjoy it virtually.
Day 2 - 18 May
Padmanabh Swami Temple
On that day, we woke up at 5 a.m. After we get ready, we went to The Padmanabh Swami Temple. This was Lord Shiva's temple. I was too excited. This temple was one of those religious temples which were blessed by God for its beauty. It was raining at that time. In that heavy rain, we were completely drenched but still, we were happy and enjoying that rain. There was no entry for the people in western outfits or even in simple dresses. The entry is only allowed while wearing 'loongi' or 'saree '. In that heavy rain, we went to the temple. When we reached inside the temple then I couldn't able to believe it with my own eyes. There was sand all around the temple inside. This was thousands of years old temple still its design and architectural work were great. That scene refreshed our minds.

I couldn't able to take a photo in that heavy rain
Parshuram Temple
The next place we were going to visit was the 'Parshuram temple'. Yes, you are right, this is that Parshuram, who broke the teeth of 'Lord Ganesha'.This was also a nice place to visit. Because there are very few temples of Parshuram all over India. That was a nice place to visit.
Then we went for the breakfast in 'Milma' canteen, it is the famous brand of milk in the south. We ordered 'Parathas' due to the limited varieties of dishes. But that was not Paratha, it was the Roti made up of flour. I just don't understand how they called it Paratha.😐 So it was that realization that we were in the south.🙄After that our 3 hrs were wasted searching for a cab or traveling vehicle.
Kovalam beach
After this, we finally got it and we went to Kovalam beach. It was continuously raining. And hence we cant enjoy the beach fully. But the beach was so beautiful. We couldn't able to go inside because of the high tide, but we clicked many photos. This is one of the best international beaches in India.

Poovar Island boating experience
This was the main thing and the main aim of the day. That place (Poovar island ) was great. It is blessed by nature and greenery. This was the place that was covered by the greenery. The beautiful combination of greenery, the backwater of the river, and the ocean. There was land which is occupied by backwater on one side and by the ocean on another side. There were many rock memorials and hence evergreen Kerala is also known as the rock memorials city. 🏝️

Way to Kanyakumari
After the boating, we went to the Kanyakumari. Around 5 p.m. we reached to the kanyakumari . Firstly, we went to the Kanyakumari beach to see the worldwide famous sunset on the beach. We enjoyed it a lot. After that, we went to Kanyakumari temple which was so beautiful Then we went to one of the best lodges in that area. And after the whole day's traveling, we finally went to sleep.😴
